Joe Essid
University of Richmond

Welcome to the program that assists University of Richmond writers at all levels of experience. See our appointments calendar to schedule a free tutorial.

The Writing Center provides experienced tutors who offer friendly critiques for written work in any major. We also provide faculty support and materials for teachers in our Writing Across the Curriculum Program (WAC) and in English 103, the University's expository writing class.

Our offices are located in the Administrative Wing of the Boatwright Library, to the right of the library's main entrance. Our staff includes Writing Fellows assigned to faculty who assist entire classes with their papers and a few Technology Fellows who assist with projects integrating technology and writing. For those interested in becoming Fellows or tutors, or for faculty who would like Writing Fellows in their classes, visit our WAC program pages for more information.
